From small beginnings in the Central Western QLD town of Barcaldine, the Usher name has grown to become synonymous with the paint industry since their arrival to the Gold Coast in 1985.

After years of learning first hand from their involvement in the paint industry, they then progressed to their first retail endeavour, by way of an independent paint store at Nerang. Through hard work and persistence and by focusing primarily on putting customer service and extensive advice as their main priorities, they created quite a landmark for paint on the Gold Coast.

After teaming up in later years with the Inspirations Paint & Colour group and being appointed as a Dulux Trade Centre, the Business has continued to thrive and has not looked back. Established in 1979, Inspirations Paint & Colour is now Australia's largest franchise of independent paint specialist stores, with over 130 stores nationally.

Due to growth on the Coast and high demand, at the beginning of 2005, the Ushers launched their second premises at Oxenford. Together the two stores have continued to grow successfully and strive to continually maintain the highest levels of customer service and advice, for which they have become renowned over the years.

They have also implemented further sectors to the business such as, render & texture supplies, artist supplies, extensive wallpaper solutions, marine & automotive paints and a personal in-home colour consultancy service. With over twenty qualified staff members now on board, there is sure to be an expert ready to answer any queries you may have.
